Accountable for all aspects of IT service Management for 30 staff facing applications. Ensuring the delivery of robust IT services that meet the agreed requirements (SLA,OLA) of the business and technology strategy. Working closely with technical teams, 3rd party technology providers and senior business managers to deliver and maintain IT services in accordance with budget, policy and strategy.
Leading a team of software developers through the full project lifecycle (SDLC/Waterfall) from initiation to implementation and support. Providing technical and task management support, mentoring/trading as well as undertaking analysis, design (producing solution design and technical design documentation), build, test activity and managing implementations.
Leading an application support team based in the UK and India. Providing 2nd and 3rd line support for a global application deployed to HSBC businesses in 12 countries across Europe, Asia Pacific, South America and the USA.
Responsible for the resolution of 2nd and 3rd line support issues and providing small application enhancements.
Development of Client Server applications using CA Advantage Plex (C++ Windows Client/RPG iSeries Server), RPG, CL, SQL.
