Reported directly to the Communications Manager, John Ward. 📌 PUBLIC WEBSITE: • Edited the biographies of the IP attachés appointed to posts in South Africa and Mercosur for style, length, and adherence to USPTO editorial guidelines • Drafted blurb for Paris treaty, “Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property,” for the International IP treaties web page • Created email alert on patent work-sharing agreement with El Salvador’s National Center of Registries • Update web page text and Salesforce registration links for the "Tribal consultations on the WIPO treaty on intellectual property, genetic resources and associated traditional knowledge" • Supported the selection of photos for various social media posts, including by coordinating with the Office of the Chief Communications Officer (OCCO) to post IP attaché content to the internal PTOWeb Photo of the Week web page 📌 EXTERNAL EVENT SUPPORT: • Proofread multiple versions of the program and slide deck for the Patents and Trademarks for Humanity Award Ceremony. Boren Fellowships provide up to $30,000 to U.S. graduate students to add an international component to their graduate education through the study of critical languages in regions of the world that are underrepresented in study abroad. Boren Awards are funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP), which is administered by the Defense Language and National Security Education Office (DLNSEO) in the US Department of Defense.
Worked in collaboration with the MBA Program Director, the Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and the Head of the Education Steering Committee to review 4 spring core course syllabi for inclusion of social impact and DEI content.
The mission of the HSA is to participate meaningfully in decisions that affect the quality of the student experience at Heller. We aim to unify the voice of the student body and bring our input to the faculty, administration, career services, staff, steering committees and program directors. The HSA operates with the belief that a unified student voice will enable us to shape our education and foster a stronger community within the school and our global community. The Student Accessibility & Support Coordinator will lead the development of projects related to transportation, housing, food and other resource and information access needs for Heller students.
