Currently working as a Client Representative in the submarine cable industry (Alcatel and Subcom): Marine geophysical surveys UXO surveys Nearshore surveys and Topographic surveys Cable landing site visits Cable route desk top studies I worked as a geophysicist in the marine survey industry from 2000 to 2015, primarily in 2D seismic and hydrographic mapping operations; offshore as senior geophysicist and party chief positions, onshore as project manager and geophysicist in charge of reporting and interpretation. I have extensive experience mobilizing and conducting surveys on boats of opportunity in various parts of the world including: Lake Turkana - Kenya, Nigeria, Cote D'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Ghana, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, DRC, Angola, North Sea, South Africa, Caribbean Sea, Micronesian Islands, Australia, Brazil, Columbia, Panama, United Arab Emirates and Russia. I wrote and presented courses for the Fugro Academy in UK, Norway, Egypt, Brazil, Holland and South Africa between October 2011 and February 2013. The courses were on Geophysical Principles, An Introduction to the Oil Industry, and Fugro's Geophysical Acquisition and Processing Software. Prior to working as a Client Rep, I was primarily contracted to various Fugro operations worldwide, working extensively throughout West Africa through their Cape Town office, as well as 2 years with their Perth, Australia, office.
