• Contributed to the development of a product that automates phone number portability from various providers to Twilio. This solution leveraged Temporal Cloud as a foundation, ensuring that the business logic was executed within scalable workflows. • Played a key role in developing a product that simplified the onboarding process for users purchasing shortcodes (mass communication numbers), eliminating the need for back-and-forth emails between customer support and users by streamlining the collection of user information (KYC), configurations, and payment methods. • Migrated a service from PHP to Java using the Strangler pattern. In peak time, it handles an average of 15 requests per second. For the migration, the endpoints to be moved were identified, the business logic was implemented in the new service, and a proprietary service acted as a transparent proxy, gradually routing traffic to the new system using a canary deployment strategy. • Containerized a Python microservice that was previously running on an EC2 instance. This service executed multiple scheduled jobs that integrated with various third-party services. • Implemented synthetic tests in Datadog using Terraform to simulate user behavior across different company webpages. These tests ensured the stability of different application flows.
• Developed and supported an application designed for the creation of optimized marketing plans using big volumes of data from companies like Nielsen and Acxiom. • Development of applications deployed in microservice-oriented architecture, aimed at the integration with third party applications to help in decision making when creating and executing marketing plans. • Development of batch jobs to facilitate data exchange with external platforms, focusing on report generation, data synchronization, processing and optimization of internal data used by the application. • Development and support of applications dedicated to the renderization of catalogs (tiles/maps), using technologies like Spark, for grouping information like road, traffic signs, buildings with the goal of enhancing needed information for self-driving vehicles.
• Developed an e-commerce site using Magento 2 framework for a company selling furniture for homes and businesses. The development increased customer reach by about 30%. • Led the development and migration of a desktop application to a web platform responsible for managing user information, enabling detailed tracking of employee benefits and generating metrics and reports for various departments. The goal was to optimize costs through data analysis related to consumption and user behavior. Development done using AngularJS, Java, HTML, RabbitMQ, JavaScript, CSS and Spring Boot as framework.
• Contributed to the Frontend development of various websites including Budweiser, Corona, Castle Lager and Lady Speed Stick using JavaScript/JQuery.
