Student at the University of Rochester studying Chemical Engineering on the pre-med track with a minor in Bioethics. I am interested in conducting research in the fields of biopharmaceuticals, cell-based therapy, and regenerative medicine. Beyond my coursework, I am passionate about helping those in my community as an EMT. Research Intern @ Goldman Lab (Cell and Gene Therapy in Center for Translational Neuromedicine) under supervision of Dr. Carlos Benitez - Investigating the mechanisms through which young human glia outcompete old human glia. - Performing cryosections of 3D tissue samples and staining for glial markers in murine models. - Assessing the histological markers at the boundary of glial competition and perform quantitative analysis of 3D data captured from cleared brains. - Gaining proficiency in spatial transcriptomics, histology, and 3D tissue clearing.
Student Volunteer in Family Maternity Center of Highland Hospital
- Use my knowledge of emergency medicine as an EMT-B to perform the assessments and treatments necessary to stabilize and transport patients. - Provide medical care and appropriate interventions in a prehospital setting for patients suffering from traumatic injuries and/or medical conditions such as cardiac arrests, strokes, seizures, drug overdoses, diabetic emergencies, and other conditions. - Gather and record pertinent patient information (e.g., allergies, medications, medical history) on prehospital care reports to ensure smooth transition of care from EMS to the receiving hospital.
Led a team of 50+ students in weekly meetings. Instructed students to help them develop various BLS skills (e.g., splinting, taking blood glucose levels, administering CPR, etc). Collaborated with advisors and other board members to organize blood drives, fundraisers, and activities for members. Responsible for taking note of member attendance, organizing files, and facilitating communication with members of the youth corps.
Led a drill team of 5 members in weekly trainings, practiced important skills including splinting, oxygen administration, and hemorrhage control in preparation for regional competition. Placed 1st overall in competition for trauma and medical assessments.

Shadowed Dr. Sung Ho Lee, MD during Summer 2025. Observed outpatient consultations and inpatient rounds to learn about hematology-oncology, related diagnoses, and treatment; assisted nurses with non-clinical tasks (patient transport, room preparation, restocking supplies)
