The engineering team provided support for the Tunnel Wide Engineering requirements, including ventilation and dewatering systems, P6 and project reporting, health and safety measures, as well as demobilization planning for the project.
Senior Project Engineer (Production) on the Trelawney St shaft for the NorthConnex road-headed (4 No.) twin tunnels between the M1 and the M2, Sydney. The NorthConnex is a Joint venture between Bouygues Construction Australia and Lend Lease.
Secondment to the Connectus JV City Rail Link Project JV between McConnell Dowell and Hawkins Infrastructure in Auckland as Project Manager starting on PUP’s relocation in the CBD making way and managing 4 Shafts with complex pit bottoms (2 soldier pile, 2 caisson) and 3 pipejack drives in the Auckland CBD. Tendering and delivering D&C: micro-tunnels, pipe-jacks (TBM and hand-drives), HDD, shafts, tunnel modifications, storm-water and building modifications. Created company quality systems.
Tendering and delivery of D&C upgrades to water and sewerage treatment plants including the construction of trunk/rising mains from OD 315mm to 1000mm in size. Managing the electrical, mechanical, structural, civil and process upgrade's of; flash mixers, dosing units, backwash rising mains, filters, pumps and sludge handling facilities. Progressed the Company's H & S, Quality and Financial systems.
Delivering two regional packages of work for Main Roads on a PICR contract - specifically; managing road and rock slope remediation including; bulk earthworks, drainage, rock bolt/shotcrete/retaining structure build, pavement construction and furniture fit out. Strict adherence to Federal Government approved systems of work.
