I am a senior business and people executive with nearly 20 years' experience spanning corporate advisory, enterprise transformation and executive people leadership. Unlike traditional HR career paths, I bring experience from both commercial advisory and people leadership, combining a Chartered Accountant background with deep expertise in culture, leadership and organisational performance. This enables me to operate credibly across business, strategy and culture, helping organisations translate priorities into practical execution and sustainable outcomes. Over nearly a decade, I have led and advised on enterprise people, culture and transformation initiatives, including eight years as People & Culture Director and Diversity & Inclusion Leader at PwC Australia and more recently through advisory work supporting Boards and executive teams. Working across complex, matrixed organisations, I have partnered with leaders to navigate change, strengthen organisational capability and deliver sustainable workforce and business outcomes. I believe people and culture are not parallel agendas to business performance - they are fundamental enablers of it. My approach combines commercial rigour, behavioural insight and pragmatic execution to strengthen organisational capability, leadership effectiveness and workforce outcomes. Drawing on nearly 20 years’ experience spanning professional services, corporate advisory and executive People & Culture leadership, including eight years leading enterprise culture and inclusion at PwC Australia, I bring experience partnering with senior stakeholders through periods of organisational change, complexity and growth.
I led a national D&I team and shaped the People & Culture leadership agenda across 10,000 employees, partnering with leaders and executive teams to embed equity, psychological safety and respect into everyday behaviours. This included not only building inclusive culture but also strengthening governance, employee relations and workforce policies to ensure fair, consistent and effective organisational practices. I designed and implemented initiatives spanning workplace behaviour, harassment prevention, gender equality, LGBTIQ+ inclusion, cultural diversity and disability confidence - turning policy into measurable organisational change that strengthened PwC’s reputation as a leader in inclusion and employer of choice. Through coaching, bystander programs and the ‘Speak Up’ campaign, I empowered leaders and employees to act with confidence and accountability, improving engagement, trust and inclusion. I partnered with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders to integrate First Nations perspectives into policies and programs, enhancing cultural competence. I also managed complex and sensitive matters (including sexual harassment, domestic violence and diversity-related discrimination) using trauma-informed, survivor-centred approaches, ensuring an effective organisational response and fostering an environment where people thrive.
I advised domestic and international clients on complex corporate, M&A and international tax and legal matters, translating technical issues into strategic, commercial outcomes. By leading client teams and managing stakeholder communications, I helped organisations navigate regulatory change, optimise transactions and make confident business decisions. I implemented change and innovation programs, improving operational efficiency and team capability, and mentored colleagues to strengthen leadership skills and commercial acumen. During an international secondment establishing a high-performing Offshore Delivery Centre, I built scalable processes and developed teams to deliver results consistently across borders.
I delivered advisory services to private clients, family offices and strategic ventures, providing practical, compliant and commercially viable solutions across asset protection, succession planning, tax structuring and business compliance. By translating complex legislation into actionable advice, I helped clients make confident financial and strategic decisions. I led process improvements, enhanced client relationships and mentored junior team members, building capability and strengthening the firm’s reputation for trusted, high-quality advice. I also supported community engagement initiatives, including financial literacy presentations, creating value beyond traditional client work and fostering lasting impact.
