About

I received my B.A. in English with a creative writing emphasis from CSU Long Beach. As of January 2020, I have completed my student teacher  training at Helen Stacey Middle School in Huntington Beach, California  and earned my preliminary teaching credential for secondary education in ELA. To procure a position as an English Language Arts teacher at a  middle school or high school where my work ethic and talents can be  utilized.

    WJMS has been a well-rounded experience that challenged me during the hardest years in education. As a first year teacher, I taught 7th grade honors and 7th grade Language Arts. I collaborated with my mentor and department to transition their curriculum to be hybrid. I created content and diversified lessons to better fit the needs of students. I have been recognized for my created curriculum and pedagogy. In addition, I have been trained in such programs as Canvas, Lanschool, Nearpod, and Edficiency with countless hours of professional development related to diversified learning.
