While being a 501(c)(3) non-profit, HackCville is operated as a startup. I served three roles in this context: 1) Personnel + Operations - Tripled the size of our membership to 1500 students/year while keeping fees radically affordable and meeting 100% of financial need. - Led all recruitment, onboarding, and training to double the size of our team, now at 30 part-time staff and 80 volunteers. 2) Marketing + Partnerships: - Increased course registrations by 500%. - Doubled our newsletter subscribers and social media following. 3) Sales and Business Development - Increased our outbound sales outreach by 240% - Built a completely automated sales system - Managed relationships with 250 hiring partners
Radify Labs helps students get hired in Marketing, Graphic Design, User Experience Design, and Product Management. We run online training programs to help students develop their technical and professional skills. To date, 350 students from 35 unique universities have participated in Radify Labs programming. During the Fall of 2018 our team participated in the Lighthouse Labs Accelerator program (a top 25 accelerator program certified by the Global Accelerator Network). We have also engaged with more than 3,000 university students and recent graduates through virtual events, our online learning community, in-person workshops, and collaborations with student and professional organizations.
