Recruited to what was a Melbourne-based Series-A SaaS business in 2012, Andrew leveraged deep enterprise business management experience to lead international setup and growth, building the Asia business and team from inception and positioning Whispir as a high-growth, global communication SaaS provider. Throughout, Andrew’s focus has been meeting the needs of enterprise clients spanning insurance, banking, government, logistics, tech, telco, and numerous marquee clients. Andrew closed multiple transformative deals in ASEAN, whilst also establishing the initial USA presence in Seattle and Los Angeles, and supporting business growth through to listing on the Australian Stock Exchange in June 2019.
Andrew is responsible for large-scale transformational business growth opportunities across all Whispir regions. Working in partnership with new & emerging GTM channels, Andrew collaborates across the business to lead strategic programs, develop a pipeline of large/strategic deal opportunities and directly contribute to signings, revenue, and EBITDA growth, whilst also providing industry analysis and advisory for regional sales & strategies in close consultation with the CEO.
Andrew leads the Soprano Group's multi-brand, multi-platform growth via 14+ global Telco & ISV partnerships spanning A/NZ, ASEAN, Europe & USA . Andrew also leads the value realisation and product positioning strategy for the Group.
Following the acquisition of Classic Blue in 2006, Andrew was promoted and returned to BCRS to deliver subject matter expertise and operational management during its integration into IBM Australia. Responsible for all aspects of business management, product portfolio management and market development, Andrew was accountable for signings, revenue, profit, and margin across the combined BCRS and Classic Blue integrated company entity.
Responsible for all aspects of business management for selective outsourced IT services such as the Mobility, Server, and Network management services portfolio.
As Principal Executive Consultant and business development leader, Andrew's team delivered A$20m+ enterprise resilience projects for large corporations. Andrew deployed a multi-national and multi-disciplinary team of executive consultants to establish IBM's first in-region competency centre while securing an anchor telecommunications client for an enterprise-wide application resilience multi-year program.
