Over twenty years business experience operating at a senior management level on a global basis; a relationship specialist in sourcing, negotiating, managing and communicating with key strategic clients, rights-holders, sponsors, partners and stakeholders; multi-lingual with significant international business exposure and commercial experience both within the sports industry and other sectors; a successful leader, proven team player and trusted executive who delivers results whatever the circumstances. Currently based in Doha, Qatar, I led the launch of the inaugural Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix at the newly renovated Lusail International Circuit (LIC) in 2023, followed by the delivery of record-performing editions of the MotoGP Grand Prix of Qatar and the Qatar1812 FIA World Endurance Championship in 2024 and 2025. My role focuses on commercialising and expanding LIC’s motorsport portfolio, while driving other sustainable and increasingly beneficial revenue streams to support and underwrite the delivery of these major international events.
Leading on all commercial operations for LIC for the major events including the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix and MotoGP of Qatar plus all other events to be held at Lusail International Circuit.
Building upon the success of the inaugural Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix to commercialise and develop a wider portfolio of globally recognised motorsports events to be held within the Kingdom additionally including the Dakar Rally, Formula E and Extreme E.
Successfully launched the 2021 Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix within the Kingdom with responsibility for managing and developing all revenue generating activities including; - Sponsorships & Partnerships - Hospitality & Ticketing - Merchandising - eSports
Providing strategic consultancy and direct support to major sports events organisers and rights holders to optimise commercial relations with key sponsors and partners. • Full responsibility of key relationships with Formula 1, MotoGP, Formula E, ATP World Tour and MXGP • Development of strong and trusted relations with all major event promoters to enhance partnerships • Direct interaction with C-level executives to regularly report KPI’s & service delivery updates • Event management and delivery for F1.com's Paddock Club including liaison with Do&Co • Management of relations with F1 teams including Ferrari, Red Bull Racing & Mercedes F1 AMG • Extensive liaison with event sponsors and global partners such as DHL, Emirates, Rolex and Pirelli • PG’s ambassador regularly representing the business on a global stage at sports and industry events • Identifying and working with key partners to open up new channels for both technology & ticket sales
• Responsible for all sales activity for PG's ticketing technology platform to global sports events • Closed key partnerships with F1, Dorna & Formula E for headline F1.com, MotoGP.com & FE.com sales • Completed technology sales to F1 promoters including Bahrain, China, Azerbaijan, Abu Dhabi and Italy • Significant enhancement of relationships with existing technology customers to upsell PG products • Development of successful partnership with ATP with sales to ATP 250, 500 & Masters events
