About

How we connect to each other matters - now more than ever. In that spirit I am enthused about leading the newly-created Maine Connectivity Authority, which is charged with facilitating universal access to affordable high-speed internet in Maine towards a more prosperous, digitally equitable future. Originally from Colorado with deep roots in Maine and formative growth in Pittsburgh PA - I am compelled by the opportunity to build the foundation of our future through investments in our digital infrastructure enabling innovation and resilience in our urban, rural, and natural systems. My entrepreneurial experiences combined with public sector work have enabled me to think big - and practice how to turn ideas into meaningful action by forging multi-sector, multi-organizational collaborations through tangible and incremental action. Specialties include: strategic planning, fundraising, organizational development, non-profit management, multi-organizational collaboration, program design, development and deployment. Content expertise includes: community and economic development, broadband policy, community engagement, civic technology and innovation, land use policy, revitalization, energy efficiency, alternative energy, waste management, social enterprise. Extra bang for buck include: chopping firewood, digging holes, the northwest tact, carrying lots of child gear, looking bad while surfing and skiing and cooking breakfast with minimal materials. Am open to picnics anytime of year.
