An MBA graduate of the London Business School, Andrew has more than 20 years’ experience in design consultancy services, the majority of which have been in successful management positions. He is currently located in Dubai, UAE, and is a Senior Partner for BSBG - a renowned international multi-disciplinary consultancy practice established in Dubai in1976. Andrew is responsible for overseeing the delivery of large scale real estate projects from concept to completion across Europe and the MENA region. He has a proven track record in revenue generation, and is a pivotal member of the senior management team responsible for receivable collections and operations management.

As Senior Partner, he oversees business development, operations and the delivery of large-scale projects for BSBG. Andrew is a dynamic and effectual leader with a proven ability to develop business relationships, motivate people, drive projects forward and improve operations. His roles include overseeing the transition from project award to project establishment, client liaison, management of the critical path and value engineering input across all group projects. Key projects: • ICD Brookfield Place, Dubai (Client: Brookfield, Concept by Foster & Partners); a 53-storey LEED Platinum commercial office tower with a mixed-use podium, located in the prestigious Dubai International Financial District (DIFC). • The Opus, Dubai (Client: OMINYAT, Concept by Zaha Hadid); The Opus, designed by the late Zaha Hadid, is a mixed-use project that pushes the boundaries of architectural, structural and façade design. • Nobu Hotel London, Portman Square (Client: London & Regional) A restorative upgrade of a well-known London hotel, it is poised to become London’s new place to be seen. Key position highlights: • Strategy & Positioning – working with the Managing Partner/Owner to define the Vision and Mission of the company, the short and medium-term strategy, and marketing the company’s services to each market of operation. • Business Development and Client Management – introducing, managing, and developing relationships with key clients. • Receivables Management – responsible for ensuring timely collection of debts with the project team and accounts. • Operations Management - led the implementation and integration of a complete company management and document control software. • Corporate Expansion – led the team responsible for the establishment of the BSBG offices regionally and internationally.

They work with local and international clients in the commercial, industrial, institutional, civic and residential sectors. It was at Demlakian where over 80% of their Structural Design commisions were re-designs that I first learnt about true value engineering principles and achieving tight deadlines due to the added complexity of construction works already having commenced in most instances.
