* The Olayan Group is a $30bn Middle East conglomerate. I was responsible for their consumer, packaging and logistics manufacturing and sales operating companies joint ventures including Nestle, Kraft-Heinz, Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Kimberley-Clark, DHL Exel and Huhtamaki. * Led the Coca-Cola price elasticity study resulting in a 50% price increase which drove MS and made Coca-Cola KSA profitable. * Initiated the review of 3 finger Kit-Kat and corresponding switch to 4 finger resulting in both MS and brand profitability increases. * Changed the strategic focus of the divisions Sales & Distribution Operating Companies to acquiring and building "Own Brands" rather than only representing MNC brands. * Instigated and drove projects to consolidate Kraft Foods International and Nestle businesses (food, water and confectionery) within standalone JV Sales & Distribution OpCos.
I was responsible for the Homecare Division of Turk Henkel (Turkey, Iran, Caucasia and Central Asia). Led the industries redefinition of the rules of engagement from high volume low margin to value added products resulting in this loss making division becoming profitable at YE 2005. Divested the non strategic Oils & Fats business.
* Acquired a local detergents and personal care company "The Arabian Company for Detergents" (DAC). * Created an umbrella brand "DAC" under a "Kills Germs" brand proposition. * After 2 years sold the company to Henkel KGaA for x8 revenue. * Market Share increased from 5% to 35% and revenue from less than $25m to $175m.
