Andrew Renton immigrated to Australia from South Africa with his family in 1991. After completing high school he studied Accounting and worked as a pit technician for North Mining as well as a sports coach for the City of Melville. He continued his education with a communications degree at Murdoch University which involved a foreign exchange to the University of Victoria in Canada. After returning and completing his studies, he was employed by Elephant Productions in Subiaco. This company, led by talented ex-television producers and directors, gained a reputation throughout the corporate world as the team to rely on for high-quality film and video productions to promote and showcase their business to shareholders and other stakeholders. Andrew became a key member of the team and travelled Australia and the world as Director of Photography. During this time he was involved with many health and safety teams and his passion for maintaining the wellbeing of individuals as well as a safe work environment grew and he began his studies in Physiotherapy at Notre dame in Fremantle. With experience in major hospitals in Australia and the UK, Andrew started a home visiting physiotherapy business in Fremantle and surrounding areas. This led to the formation of Walk On Physiotherapy with the aim of helping people overcome short-term and chronic physical issues, coaching them to improve their lifestyle choices and manage their physical and mental state.
