From wholesale pharmaceuticals to real estate investment, over the past few years I have continued to develop and expand my accounting skills and knowledge within many different industries, contributing to the success and growth of a wide range of companies. Currently studying for the ACCA qualification, I am highly self-motivated to progress my career whilst contributing to organisation success. I quickly proved my willingness to learn and develop in a temporary credit control role and was soon working in many areas within the accounting department in a permanent role. My experience now covers daily accounting functions, internal and external financial reporting, data analysis and treasury duties as well as many other responsibilities.
• Perform fixed asset accounting (e.g. fixed asset master data maintenance, fixed asset creation and disposal, depreciation run execution and regional report preparation) • Supporting on-boarding of new entities and activities, ensuring that all related accounting processes and controls are in place and launch ready • Complete month end accounting tasks to include preparation of reports, queries, postings and distribution of management information across the business • Support year-end audited financial statements preparation for the Projects assigned; • Perform monthly closing procedures, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing monthly financial statements. • Prepare and maintain Excel-based financial reporting files budgets, actual and forecast and prepare monthly budget variance analysis;
