About

Chartered finance professional with over 10 years experience across a number of industries. I have had the opportunity over the last few years to grow my skill base from a more formal accounting role where I was responsible for the management accounting and finance function within a consultancy business into that of an Investment Manager with overall financial responsibility for a number of non operated assets as well as providing financial support for an array of M&A and Divestment opportunities. Transferrable Skills The core skills that I can apply across roles and industries are highlighted below: • Communication – recent roles have required extensive and sometimes difficult conversations with both technical teams and senior management. This relationship is one I feel is a strength and something I enjoy. • Efficiency – Every role has expected me to find and implement savings whether that be time, money, resourcing or all three. I have always delivered across varying scenarios from finance processes, capital projects, formal restructure, SG&A savings. • Presentation – an important part of my last two roles has been not just delivering on the detail but presenting that detail to internal and external stakeholders of all levels. Without the ability and skill to bring others on board it is often very hard to get the results so the ability to present and outline plans and ideas comprehensively is vital. • Technical – Throughout my career I have had to ensure I have the required technical knowledge to deliver on any given project whether that be Statutory Account preparation, international Balance Sheet consolidation, impairment or M&A. Although my background does not include years of technical audit I have never failed to deliver.
