Highly proficient in the use of MS Excel – able to manipulate data utilising a range of formulae and charting techniques. Excellent commercial awareness, analytical & organisational skills.
Working 12 hour shifts on a 24/7/365 pattern Continuous monitoring of the SEAL pipeline system utilising the following systems: Leak Detection System (LDS), PI Vision/Processbooks, Topview and Energy Components (EC) providing the following services: Emergency Response, initial primary contact / supporting party to the ER team providing regular updates on pipeline condition and operations during such an event Hydrocarbon allocation/accounting (HCA) to ensure the gas exported through the SEAL pipeline system is correctly allocated Timely nomination service Monitoring and reporting of shipper stock accounts Provision of hourly gas dispatching Receipt and checking of forecasts Monitoring scheduled, target and actual quantities of gas delivered Issuing and reissuing of Daily Flow Notifications (DFN) Managing cutbacks within the system Use of the Production Bulletin Board (PBB) to communicate with shippers and offshore
• Route optimisation of regions and depots using optimisation software • Present optimisation plans to depot/regional staff • Identify opportunities for savings within transport functions and plan implementation with depot/regional managers • Managing mobilisation of services within regions/depots and overseeing implementation by depots • Monitoring of sub contracted services to internalise as much as possible onto Biffa wheels around route optimisation projects • Assisting in preparation of National Account Tenders worth in excess of £6m/annum Courses attended: OnRoute Traffic Office Modular Training. • Perform nominations for beach, NBP and end-user off takes in the UK • Ensure operational activities adhere to all relevant contractual and regulatory agreements • Trading to ensure the optimal value is obtained from Statoils portfolio • Close interaction with Trading, Gas Ops. (Stavanger) & Risk Management
• Participate in trading power and gas on the OTC market and via APX • Calculation & monitoring of plant capacity & gas requirements • Calculation and notification of bid/offer volume & pricing on a half hourly basis to the Balancing Mechanism • Utilising Gemini & Panacea EDT, EDL/GPMS & Contract Data ensuring all notifications are submitted on a timely basis • Close interaction with Plant Operators, Teesside Gas Processing Plant, National Grid, Middle & Back Office
