About

I’m currently the General Manager for RWG’s Marine Division, a group established to service Rolls Royce marine gas turbines employed as propulsion unit by various navies across the world. After obtaining my Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, I went on to develop my technical, commercial and personal skills in various international locations including; long term residential secondments in both the Middle East and North America. I now use these skills to bring a deep level of technical comprehension to a management role which has proved invaluable to both my employer and myself. As part of my current role and my experience to date, I have procured a number of respected transferable skills including; Profit & Loss account management, operations management, strategic planning and execution, project management, business development, asset management, HSE, establishing and maintaining customer relationships, commercial and contractual negotiations, business turnaround and re-invigoration, team building, continuous improvement and operational excellence. I am passionate about implementing and maintaining a culture of Health and Safety awareness, whilst being keenly aware of the commercial environment in which I work. This has allowed me to deliver solutions to complex multidisciplinary problems, that require both long term strategic planning as well as short term abstract problem solving in a safe and cost effective manner.
