Sponsored by CohnReznick, I was accepted to Wave 3 of the Chicago Economic Growth Fellowship Program. This entailed 4 months of daily work at the WBC offices with other Fellows in regards to specific initiatives and strategies conceptualized by the WBC and promulgated by the Mayor’s office. Specifically, I worked on a strategy for Advanced Manufacturing and helped UI Labs in its efforts in responding to a $70 Million RFP from the Department of Defense. In addition, I worked with the Neighborhoods strategy team in developing a panel from the Urban Land Institute to survey and make recommendations for the Garfield Blvd. Corridor on the South Side of Chicago.
