Andrew has worked on numerous technical projects including Workstation/Server SOE Installation/Rollouts, Workstation/Server SOE Design, Network Infrastructure upgrades and rollouts and BAU Managed Services Support for a wide variety of clients. One of Andrew's more recent roles was a Senior Systems Engineer at Fujitsu, for a Secure Gateway Environment where he acted in a Managed Services Support role for multiple Government and Non-Government Clients. In this role, Andrew worked to ensure continued service was provided to all clients while also looking at migration paths for legacy products and continual service improvement. Andrew maintains his technical hands-on skillset through self-study and training to ensure he is ready for up-coming technologies with a major focus on Microsoft Operating Systems and the System Center Suite. Andrew is currently working on a Government Project as a Microsoft Platform Engineer.

• Deploy and Configure Server 2012 Hyper-V Capability and provision VM resources as required. • Deploy and Configure MS System Center 2012 Suite • Create Build Documentation to ensure accuracy and standardise the Platform Build process. • Automate the Build Process of the Microsoft Stack using Powershell and SCCM Task Sequences. • Revise/Update SCCM Task Sequences to maximise Build Efficiency and streamline Build Times. • Develop and Maintain a Vulnerability Patching Process. • Act as the Microsoft Liaison to the BAU Teams during the Transition into Service Phase. • Create Powershell Toolsets for the Migration Team to increase the migration success rate and troubleshoot specific issues. • Test and Deploy multiple 3rd Party Contents Provider for System Center Configuration Manager.
• Deploy Server 2012 SOE to Bare Metal Hardware • Deploy and Configure Server 2012 Hyper-V Capability and provision VM resources as required. • Deploy and Configure components of the MS System Center 2012 Suite • Liaise with Microsoft and other 3rd Parties to troubleshoot/resolve issues. • Review/Update Build documentation to ensure accuracy and standardise the Platform Build process. • Mentor and support Junior MS Platform Administrators • Provision of 3rd level support to the current Microsoft infrastructure as well as supporting and providing feedback on new infrastructure.
• Provide operational support to several clients utilising secure gateway services. • Provide day to day management of several Active Directory Environments, including DNS and WINS. • Provide guidance and assist with Active Directory and Exchange 2010 Migrations. • Analyse current environments and provide migration paths for legacy software. • Maintain several SCCM 2007 Implementations and use the toolset to maintain patch consistency across several environments. • Designed a Light Touch Management Server SOE using MDT 2012 at extremely short notice, allowing a Project Team to procure more work. • Designed a Management Workstation SOE using MDT 2012 to provide a standardised SOE for several Management Terminals • Manage a 25 Host+, 400VM+ vSphere environment day to day.
