I am an experienced and driven development engineer with a passion for sports performance and innovation. I thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and I pro-actively seek and embrace new challenges. • Responsible for leading the manufacturing, engineering and development of footwear tooling projects across a range of in-line performance styles, as well as several bespoke innovations. • Completed an intensive “shoe school” shoe-making residency in Vietnam.
•Won “Pioneering Moment of the Year Award” for the global success of the Speedo Biofuse 2.0 goggles. •Led the design engineering creation of mechanical interfaces for all NPD projects, utilising tools like Rhino and Solidworks for design, and FEA, CFD and Moldflow for tooling development. •Led UK athlete product testing (poolside) and mechanical lab testing (rig). •Engineering lead for an innovative, hydrodynamic material structure for Olympic racing products. •Completed training in advanced CAD (Rhino3D, Solidworks) and CAE (ANSYS toolkit).
• Lead Engineer for interior and ambient lighting systems across various Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles. • Lead Engineer for the exterior lighting systems on 21MY Jaguar E-Pace several BEV vehicles. • Responsible for planning and delivering all aspects of development, including tooling design, simulation analysis, legal certification, cost analysis, quality, and product testing and validation
• Completed 6-month rotations in Lighting Design, Vehicle Engineering and Off-Road Capability. • Based in Nitra (Slovakia) for 12 weeks to support the manufacturing launch of the new Defender. • Completed two weeks of shift work on the manufacturing line at Solihull to gain valuable experience assembling vehicles. • Fast-tracked to the role of Lead Engineer, prior to the end of my Graduate Scheme
• Responsible for material development, tech pack creation, 3D printed toolings, trend scouting at trade-fairs, presentation design, material boards. I also designed several off-brief toolings. • Supported the development and PM teams on a range of SS18/AW18 products, as well as taking over design responsibilities during manager’s extended sick leave. •Provided testing support to the Football Innovation team, by performance testing boot concepts and completing test feedback via focus groups and surveys.
