About

In 2014, I graduated from Misericordia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. After graduation, I began working as a High School Mathematics teacher. The experience I gained from teaching honed my mathematical knowledge in the following areas: Algebra, Trigonometry, Probability & Statistics. As a Teacher, I became comfortable teaching difficult concepts to large groups of people. I made difficult concepts easy to learn and understand to a diverse group of learners. I also led professional development to colleagues that were geared toward data analytics of student assessments. In 2017, I pursued a Master of Science degree in Data Analytics while working full time as a High School Mathematics teacher. I wanted to transition from teaching where I could continue to leverage my love of Mathematics and Statistics. I wanted to challenge myself to begin doing more with the wealth of knowledge I had built. It was because of this transition that I learned how important my experience teaching would serve me in my new career as a Data Scientist. In 2019, I finished my Masters and transitioned from a wonderful career teaching Mathematics to a career in Data Science. Today I continue to strive for excellence in all that I do and have a deep love for problem solving. I enjoy and value working with diverse teams as I believe that diversity fosters creativity and problem solving. I keep up with the latest technologies and AI/ML methods as they are an important part of what I do as a Data Scientist. I am a lifelong learner and always try to combine my intellect and creativity to help solve difficult problem sets and support my customers to help them achieve their goals. I know how to break down difficult concepts and show others how to use and apply them.
