Andrew is a Brisbane-based Clinical Psychologist with a military service background. Prior to training as a psychologist, he served as an Infantry Officer in the Australian Army. Andrew continued to serve after becoming registered. As an Army Psychologist he provided a broad range of clinical, performance-focused, and organisational support to Australian Defence Force personnel, both in Australia and on overseas operations. Since transitioning from military service in 2016, Andrew has dedicated his practice to supporting those who serve or have served. He has extensive experience working with current and former military personnel, as well as first responders. Andrew has a particular interest in helping individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, substance use issues, personality-related difficulties, and risk-related concerns. His treatment approach is tailored to each client and informed by his training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
