I am a Senior Managing Director with 20 years of experience leading complex industrial organizations through growth, transformation, and sustained operational excellence. My career has been built in the Centrifugal Pump sector, where I have led manufacturing, engineering, sales, and service teams to deliver strong financial results while keeping extraordinary safety records. At Sulzer, I currently lead a 256‑employee business spanning manufacturing, distribution, engineering, tendering, and customer support. Since 2022, I have led a full turnaround: growing revenues from €42M to over €60M, restoring profitability, doubling our operational excellence performance, and positioning Spain as a global competence center for vertical pumps and seawater lift applications. Beyond Sulzer, I serve as Vice President on the Board of two Volvo CE dealerships, contributing to strategic direction and governance for businesses with a combined €20M turnover. I bring a blend of strategic vision, hands‑on operational leadership, and commercial acumen — supported by an Executive MBA from IESE, an Advanced Sales Program from IE, and an engineering background from ICAI. Fluent in English and Spanish.

In 2011, after the acquisition of the local Spanish Manufacturer HIdrotecar S.A.U., the Tendering Department was created within Sulzer Pumps Spain S.A.U. This Department is in charge of giving technical and commercial support to the different sales offices in the región EMEA (with physical presence in the UK, Germany, Russia, France, Greece, the UAE and South Africa) for the products manufactured in the Spanish Factory. In this department we are also currently working closely with the Engineering department in the integration of the former Hidrotecar’s range into Sulzer’s portolio. Finally we are cooperating as well with the Finance and Controlling department helping to develop a new cost structure for the products manufactured in Spain according to Sulzer standards.
