In my role as IT Director & Business Partner, I was responsible for aligning technology strategies with corporate goals and successfully executing through dispersed and complex enterprise business structures to deliver bottom line results, facilitate business excellence, competitive advantage and maximization of technology investments. Prior to joining DIRECTV in 2009, I was the IT Applications Services Team Leader at SMJ Beverages, where the focus was on leveraging emerging technologies, project management, mobile platforms, enterprise software, predictive data analytics, solutions optimization and infrastructure investments. I have over 23 years of diverse experience in finance, project management and technology at local and international companies such as First Citizens Bank, Royal Bank, SMJ Beverages, Trinidad Juices etc. Earlier in my career, I spent over a decade as a banker at various local and international financial institutions including First Citizens Bank and Royal Bank of Canada serving in various roles such as retail and commercial banking, corporate financing, internal auditing, mortgages, customer service, treasury operations and information technology administration. As mentioned above, I also worked in the Manufacturing as well as Retail & Distribution industry for SMJ Beverages, a multinational beverage manufacturer, leveraging technology to consolidate IT operations across the Caribbean and Latin America as well as providing business solutions to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
