I am a senior fullstack engineer specialized in frontend, with 7 years of experience. I excel in dynamic and fast-paced teams, taking end-to-end ownership of features from concept to delivery. I have experience in the healthtech sector and AI-driven healthcare tools, and I have been a major contributor to the development of two products that received both FDA and CE certifications, as well as many others undergoing approval processes.
At DigestAID, I develop the frontend and backend of our web dashboards for doctors to analyze medical exam videos and images with the help of AI. - Main contributor to a wide range of products that have received FDA and CE certifications or are undergoing approval processes; - Fullstack ownership: driving feature development across the entire stack, in close collaboration with the design and QA teams; - Reduced server memory usage by 50% by optimizing crucial endpoints; - Created the application's 2FA flow and coordinated integration with colleagues to ensure a seamless end-to-end implementation; - Implemented a client-side PDF generation web worker capable of creating PDF files with up to 50k images and a file size of 5GB, which enabled large-scale report generation for clinical studies and regulatory compliance; - Refactored all backend GraphQL resolvers in order to improve their performance and security, ensuring relationship-based access control (ReBAC) which was validated by an external cybersecurity audit; - Proactively led the QA automation initiatives on my team, from setup to writing tests in conjunction with the QA team; - Enhanced frontend error monitoring (Sentry) to improve debugging and automatically obscure all PII data, ensuring compliance with data privacy requirements; - Played a key role in defining and implementing our team’s Agile ceremonies, bringing structure and predictability to our workflow.
Contributed to the development of Anchorage's client-facing dashboard, internal dashboard, and a component library, accompanied by thorough unit, integration, and end-to-end testing; Took ownership of the frontend aspect of the Trading dashboard pages, demonstrating proactive involvement in project planning alongside design and backend teams; Led the frontend implementation of dedicated platforms for trading and lending operations within both dashboards, which resulted in significant operational efficiency gains as it eliminated the need for manual processes that required a substantial time investment; Guided and mentored a junior engineer and contributed to the overall growth and cohesion of the engineering team by participating in the interviewing process of several candidates.
Contributed significantly to the advancement of Fyde's cybersecurity web dashboard; Specialized in frontend features, middleware and unit testing, while also assisting in the development of backend features; Actively participated in the manual testing phase, collaborating with the QA team to ensure the quality and performance of the product.
My main contribution was the development of a machine learning pipeline that involved gathering data, cleaning and processing it, training a model and finally outputting the results in a way that could be easily used by the company's applications.
5 month research grant to continue the work started in the master's thesis. Worked on community detection algorithms, social network analysis and text mining.
Developed specification documents and preliminary software designs tailored for implementation in factory environments (MES), aligning with their production processes and requirements. Additionally, I also thoroughly manually tested the software as it was being created.
