Leading a team of 80+ experts on retrospective database studies and health economics. The team is based in 4 main hubs: UK, NL, GR and PT, selling & delivering projects in EMEA, including a) Database studies: intervention effectiveness studies, PAESs, PASSs, treatment pattern research, burden of illness research, and external comparator studies and b) HE studies: lit. reviews; evidence synthesis; economic models; HTA and Global Value Dossiers.
I work with the academic staff of the department on research projects, mainly evidence synthesis and dynamic modeling. As a result of this collaboration, a number of abstracts was published, and events (workshops and webinars) and training programs were organized. This collaboration was formalized by the honorary position.
Managing and coaching a dynamic team of highly skilled professionals (health economists, epidemiologists, statisticians and pharmacists) in the Netherlands, UK, Germany, Sweden, Canada and France. Responsible for the business development, organic growth of the team, providing guidance for projects and networking with experts and centers of excellence. Providing guidance and direct the team in - Conducting systematic literature reviews - Evidence synthesis (including frequentist/Bayesian meta-analysis, ITC, NMA, MAIC) - Developing economic evaluation models - Submissions to HTA or reimbursement authorities - (Global) Value dossier development - In-house training on modeling & evidence synthesis - Communication strategy & scientific manuscript development - Collaboration with research institutions on research & training in modeling and evidence synthesis Leading business development activities of the team Thought Leadership (training, webinars, publications & presentations) Networking/Collaboration with Academic Institutions

Modeling and development of algorithms for radiotherapy treatment planning, used in Nucletron 's products Oncentra Prostate and Oncentra GYN, including: - Dose optimization & Inverse Treatment Planning in brachytherapy ( HIPO and DVHO algorithms) - Interactive DVH curve "shaper" - 3D seed reconstruction (CT images) for LDR brachytherapy
Analysis and modeling of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) modules including: - Customer profiling (KYC, Due diligence) - Transaction and customer scoring - Set of rules based on legislation and recomendations (e.g. FATF) - Word matching for the use of lists of suspects (e.g. Europol) - Workflow (handling of alerts, reporting etc) - Specifications of the interface with the core banking system for MoneyWatch, a system developed for Piraeus Bank. Modeling of portfolio optimization problem in assets securitization procedure and development of the solution algorithm (Simulated Annealing / Mixed Integer Programming) in a software module. The module is used in SecurITize, a software platform for monitoring and servicing of the securitization process. Operating in Piraeus Bank.
