Leads the Researcher Services department at Tisch Library, setting strategic direction for services and outreach to support creating, managing, and sharing scholarly work created by faculty, students, and staff in the Schools of Arts, Sciences & Engineering at Tufts. Provides oversight for a variety of programs that support the needs of the AS&E community, including copyright and publishing services, open science, support for open educational resources (OER), and research data services; and supports the growth of the STEM information literacy program.
As part of the Aga Khan Documentation Center in the MIT Libraries, provided visual resources and reference support to the students, faculty, and staff of the MIT community. Managed the 120,000 image Aga Khan Visual Archive of Islamic architecture. Developed and maintained the online collection for the Archive in MIT Libraries' digital repository (see http://dome.mit.edu/handle/1721.3/45936). As part of the team managing the Digital Library for Archnet, an international online community focusing on the built environment in the Islamic world, managed the uploading of visual, textual, and archival content to the Digital Library. Participated in the development of the new Archnet 2.0, a redesigned front end and backend cataloging tool for the Archnet Digital Library.
Cataloged collections objects using PastPerfect software, photographed, and properly organized and stored objects from museum’s collection. Processed and packed objects for deaccession from the collection, and performed other curatorial tasks as necessary, including object research, relocation of collections, and packing objects for shipment.
