About

🌟 As a Scientific Data Professional, I enhanced the value of data in different contexts, contributed to its sustainable use and decision processes. Background: Data Analysis, Data Science, Research Data Management (RDM), Bioinformatics, Actuary, Biochemistry, Biology, Teaching, Mathematics ___ As a Pricing Actuary, I found that related data analysis, data science & data engineering contents have a strong overlap with my interests. In particular, reporting, claims analyses and respective coding (Python, PySpark, Databricks) match with my skills as a newcomer in insurance context. Providing a first pricing suggestion resonated well with my intention to use data to support decision processes. Outside the pricing actuarial team, the exchange with underwriting and sales was very supportive to get into the new context. ___ As an Academic Experts in Data Science for the Cluster of Excellence on Plant Sciences (CEPLAS), I supported CEPLAS groups in the area “Data Science and Management” by: - Teaching in Data Science (ML), Programming (Introduction to Python) & Research Data Management - R-coding support for a lab - Intensive collaboration with NFDI4Plants & NFDI4Bioimage (NFDI = National Research Data Infrastructure) - Consulting - data storage & management - Strategical work & networking - Teaching material contributions - NFDI4Plants
