I work at the interface where deep nanomedicine science becomes corporate value; turning clinical and scientific data into partner-ready, financeable assets through sharp positioning, defendable IP and strategic partnering. As Head of Scientific & Corporate Development at InnoMedica, I shape the company's liposomal drug-delivery portfolio across oncology and neurodegeneration into transaction-relevant narratives, strengthen its IP positions, and align development strategy with long-term value creation. This rests on two decades in nanomedicine across academia, biotech and entrepreneurship. As co-founder and CSO/CTO of Acthera Therapeutics, I built the company from zero to 9 FTE, raised CHF 7.8M, advanced the technology from cells to in-vivo models, scaled synthesis from 100 mg to 50 g, and drove a core patent from filing to grant. In academia I held an SNSF Professorship, authored 67 peer-reviewed publications and 8 patents, gave 67 invited and keynote talks, and founded two research fields; chemical lipidology and mechanosensitive drug delivery. My scientific roots run through ETH Zürich (PhD with E. M. Carreira) and MIT (postdoc with Robert Langer). That combination is my edge: I read the science deeply enough to know what an asset is truly worth, and translate it into the commercial and IP language that gets deals done.
