Andreas Schuller is member of the „upper management circle“ at AUDI AG. Following his responsibility for passive safety function development and project management integral safety he is currently leading vehicle safety testing. Before he was working at SAIC VOLKSWAGEN Shanghai/China as Director Vehicle Safety Development and in AUDI AG’s product line A0/A responsible for project management of Exterior & car body. Andreas Schuller has broad experience in the field of vehicle safety, module managment, safety electronics hardware/ software and process design and testing. In the past he was responsible for component development, software development, system development and project management for whole-vehicle safety projects. In different roles Andreas Schuller achieved a excellent understanding of complete-vehicle development. Besides German and English he is able to communicate in Portuguese and Spanish.

Responsible for the development of safety electronics (Sensors, ECU,Reversible belt tensioner): module development and module management for the VW Group. Integration of safety electronics for all AUDI car projects. Coordination of software development and testing of hardware (HIL) and software (SIL) Process development: transformation from component orientation to functional and use-case orientation in daily development (systems engineering, ASPICE, V-model)
Responsible for the development of all airbag types and the integration of curtain and side airbags into the complete vehicle for all AUDI car projects.
Responsible for the development of all front airbag components and frontal restraint system development for all AUDI car projects.
