Andreas Niederl is the deputy group leader of the research group Regional Economics and Structural Policy at JOANNEUM RESEARCH, POLICIES – Institute for Economic and Innovation Research. His main areas of work are regional and sectoral technology, innovation and science policy with a particular focus on quantitative methods and impact evaluation. He studied at University of Graz and University of Manchester and holds a degree in Economics. He is Startup Europe Ambassador.
