My role in the Personal Care Business Group included partnering with the CFO of the business throughout the complete planning cycle (Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecast , Strategic Plan, Latest View) and providing insights on the Business Performance. On top of this I partnered with the Marketing team of the business: by acting as a link between Marketing and Finance I managed to improve the budgeting process and achieved various cost savings for the marketing projects.
My role in the HeathTech Costs of Organisation team included supporting all 11 businesses of the company by delivering clear and actionable information on group costs and saving initiatives. My goal was to help the involved stakeholders in understanding what drives the costs and enable them to control areas of their accountability by making use of LEAN and efficient methods. One of my major achievements was the roll out of Power BI analytics tool towards all the Business Groups, a solution that allowed both finance and management teams to review their cost basis in a very modern and efficient way. At the same time I worked with the Productivity team to measure the performance of each business in their saving initiatives and to identify new opportunities for the program.
In my role as a Business Controller for Tommy Hilfiger (Footwear & Accessories, Menswear) my main tasks included sales planning, managing part of the P&L of the Division, controlling the operating expenses of the team and preparing monthly performance presentations. Ad hoc tasks included margin analysis, inventory planning & reporting and sample cost analysis.
