About

At Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, I work on the political economy of financial governance and central banks. My teaching and research explore how markets, institutions, and politics interact to shape economic outcomes and financial stability. Alongside my academic work, I advise international organizations, central banks, and private sector leaders, particularly in emerging markets, on policy design, institutional reform, and strategies for navigating complex macroeconomic and financial environments. My current work examines how shifts in financial governance and monetary policy are reshaping inequality, resilience, and state capacity, and what these changes mean for the future of economic development and institutional design. I also serve on the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Political Economy, contributing to shaping the field’s debates at the intersection of research and policy.
