2018 Member of Product Delevelopment Unit. Lead for Design Productivity for RF Product Development worldwide, Interface for Methodology Optimization, IT Infrastructure, Process Design Kit, Technology Selection 2011-2017 Staff member in the Central Development Unit as key expert for RF/Analog/Mixed Signal Development. Responsible for Predevelopment, Product Development, Technology Probing and Technology Selection. Built up and lead an expert design team of 45 people for RF/Mixed-Signal/Analog Development for benchmark signal processing solutions comprising a well-balanced skillset in Circuit Design, Layout/Physical-Design, Component Verification / Laboratory Evaluation / Circuit and System Debug, Methodology. Predevelopment of first Analog Frontend Designs (Receiver and Transmitter) for LTE/Wifi … in Finfet technologies. We also predeveloped highly digital Transmitter and Receiver Architectures (digital polar TX, digital IQ transmitter, RX ADCs directly at the mixer …) and implemented it for very high volume products for LTE/Wifi standards used in “flagship” feature phones, tablets and notebooks … Important product contributions of my team: Highly digitized Receiver Circuit Architectures with significant improvement in power and area. First time right deliveries and bring up support of several generations of LTE/Wifi/Bluetooth high volume products for world leading phone/tablet/notebook suppliers. Development of the RF Digital to Analog Converters for a Digital Polar Transmitter complying with advanced LTE standards. Implementation and ramp up support for several LTE high volume “flagship” products with excellent customer feedback. Development of RF Digital to Analog Converters for a Digital IQ Transmitter complying with LTE and 5G standards. 2011-2018 Additionally I have covered the role of a Managing Director for Intel Austria and Site-Manager for the site Villach.
