Served as main point of contact for hospital accounts while developing and driving orders and revenue recognition. Called on cardiologists, radiologists, nurses, materials management, project management and the C-Suite.
Specific focus on the product launch of an injectable agent for high-risk patients requiring MRI scans. Identified and developed key opinion leaders. Assisted pharmacy and materials management with P&T Formulary Committee and Value Analysis Committee pull through.
2007 Pinnacle Award Winner Called on cardiologists, nurses, sonographers, pharmacy, and materials management to develop clinical awareness of GE's injectable cardiac ultrasound imaging agent Optison. Created and implemented business proposals. Built and maintained partnerships with key physicians, GPOs, IDNs, and wholesalers. Conducted hospital exhibits, speaker’s programs, grand rounds, and lunch and learn programs.
Responsible for sales of GE’s line of injectable diagnostic imaging contrast media solutions, radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear pharmacy services to hospitals and outpatient imaging centers. Key points of contact included: cardiologists, radiologists, interventional radiologists, neuroradiologists, nurses, technologists and department heads in Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Pharmacy and Materials Management. Negotiated hospital and imaging center Contract Terms and Conditions. Covered strategic IDN accounts and teaching institutions, as well as community hospitals and imaging centers.
