Andrea is an experienced Director, consultant and veterinary leader with a strong background in regulatory affairs and science, biosecurity, public health, epidemiology, policy development, development and validation of strategy, stakeholder engagement and emergency disease prevention, preparedness and response (PPR). As founder (2002) and director of Ultimate Efficacy Consulting Ltd she works at the human-animal-agriculture and ecosystem interface building capacity to tackle complex health and food security challenges using One Health practices.
Representing 18 special interest group within PHAA, corporate governance, strategy and technical.
Assisting research organisations, government groups, not-for-profit organisations and pharmaceutical companies in a variety of projects providing epidemiological, technical, regulatory and training services. A “One Health” approach is incorporated into her projects and evaluations.
One Health consultant and veterinarian within WHO pre-qualification GMP team to conduct risk -benefit assessment project of snake antivenom production for Sub Saharan Africa in India, Mexico, Costa Rica and South Africa (phase 1) and currently phase 2 for Asia, Africa and Middle-east.
