I am a Senior Logistics Director with 25+ years’ experience delivering some of the most complex, large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across the Middle East and Africa. Currently Logistics Director on the New Murabba – Mukaab development in Riyadh, one of the world’s largest and most technically demanding single-structure projects, responsible for end-to-end logistics strategy, execution planning, authority coordination and cross-package integration across a highly constrained mega-site.       Warner Bros Hotel & Service Apartment: Client: MIRAL Development Consultants: EllisDon PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project’s scope of work consists of a world’s first hotel located at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The park will be located next to the world’s first Ferrari-branded theme park and will feature such Warner Bros.-owned characters such as Batman, Bugs Bunny, and Scooby-Doo.       • Client: EMAAR Development • Consultants: DEWAN • The project of two towers 52|42 host a total of 260 and 162 luxury residential units respectively, with an additional 44 apartments located on the podium level & 5-level car park below. • Description of work done and responsibilities o Was requested to stabilize the 4 no tower crane issues as users not getting time on tower cranes for completing works. o Logistics system in place to coordinate tower crane requirements, put resources in place to ensure the user meet the material shifting requirements so to utilize the tower crane 100% & avoid tower crane standing time. o Start the recycling system from scratch so to meet the local authorities’ standards for recycling. o Coordinate & manage the allocation of staging areas around the buildings as very limited space available. o Become the 1st point of contact for project clearing issues & point of contact for interface with local authorities regarding areas used in the adjacent land. o Put logistics team in place for getting areas ready for the next trade/operation so to ensure contractors follow the program & meet the requirements. o Attend progress meetings to report on area release issues, report on tower crane performances, recycling data, welfare facilities, measures in place of extreme weather conditions. Total Contract Value: AED 1.5 bn.
