I am passionate about fundamental research and there is no other place on Earth better than CERN to contribute to it. I am pleased to be involved in CERN's objectives by fostering Safety within the different activities in the Organisation, namely as Technical Coordinator of CERN Safety Rules and leader of the Kryolize Project I am also a technical expert (nominated by IPQ - Instituto Portugues da Qualidade) in the European Committee for Normalization CEN/TC 268 Specialties: Pressure Relief Systems, Cryogenic Systems, HVAC Systems, Mechanical Safety Procedures, CFD/FEA Simulations, Risk Assessment Methods Informatics: Wolfram Mathematica, Ansys, Visual Basic, SolidWorks, Inventor, Catia, REVIT, HAP
Responsible for the technical coordination (experts, stakeholders) of the establishment and revision of the CERN Safety Rules
Developed HVAC projects and energy analyses in buildings to reduce the consumption and waste - Project heat transfer systems to recover energy.
