I am a dual citizen of Brazil and France, with nearly 20 years of experience in product and marketing management within the agriculture and chemicals industries. My journey has taken me from Brazil to Australia, France, and now Germany, where I embrace diverse cultures and build strong relationships. Currently, I serve as the Global Nematodes Segment Head at Bayer, managing a multi functional team focused on developing biotech traits, synthetic, biological, and digital crop protection solutions. Previously, I led the Global Procurement 3rd Party and Tolling Category, overseeing a €500M budget that impacted over €1 billion in sales. In Brazil, I launched Intacta 2 Xtend soybean biotechnology platform, leading a team of over 50 professionals, and also managed the Herbicides P&L. My leadership has driven initiatives achieving double-digit growth in the Elastomers sector during my tenure as LATAM Marketing Manager at Dow Chemical. With a degree in Chemical Engineering from one of LATAM's top universities and an Executive MBA from Pittsburgh, I have honed my business acumen across chemicals, plastics, and crop protection. My experience spans LATAM and EU markets and includes a diverse global expertise as, for instance, in raw materials supply from Asia and active ingredient registration in the USA. - Hold business responsibility for the Nematodes marketing crop protection solutions; - Drive Fluopyram asset and portfolio life cycle management (Velum and Verango trademarks); - Collaborate with regional teams to: 1) Identify, select, and structure growth business cases; 2) Drive solutions developments and launches; - Advance Digital (Nematool, Directo) and Biologicals solutions (Bacillus; Fungi, Vegetable extracts); - Develop new Active Ingredients, formulations and seed treatments solutions for various crops: Soybeans, Corn, Cotton, Fruits and vegetables, Rice; - Lead Root Health Communities across key markets: Brazil, USA, Europe, Mexico, India, China; - Ensure offerings meet the diverse needs of farmers and contribute to sustainable agricultural practices;
Accomplishments included: - Managed team of 4 people in Germany and 6 people in other countries (US, Costa Rica, Brazil, Japan, India) ranging from project managers and senior procurement managers. Spend €0.5 Bi with € 1Bi+ sales impact; - Business impact: 1) enabled launch of 15 products globally; 2) closed 3 relevant external manufacturing agreements for Europe; - Implemented a Market Intelligence portal which enabled all Crop Science Procurement Managers to improve data analytics to assess raw materials and services resilience and savings opportunities;
Major Accomplishments: - Created a plan to qualified additional sources for top 5 single sourced active ingredients to improve resilience and cost; - Delivered €3M savings to the 3rd party Herbicides active ingredients after complex negotiations and also increased in 15% payment terms (positive cash flow impact); - Visited China key suppliers and most important global tradeshow in Shanghai to stablish and consolidate personal and business relationships; - Improved process to license in new 3rd party formulations in EMEA reducing in 30% time between idea approval and material code creation in SAP;

Accountable for handling all Dow Elastomers sales in Brazil and for developing new markets and applications. Main focus on: automotive, hot melt adhesives, consumer goods, caps & closures, footwear, wire & cable, healthy and hygiene, etc. I was also in charge of channels management and member of some global account teams.
Support and develop projects and activities linked to changing the culture. Driver is always a market insight pushed by Commercial and Marketing Managers or by myself. Key challenges are to overcome internal obstacles in order to deliver a solution to customer/market.
