Warehousing: Ensuring cycle counts are being done at all depots. Ensuring all orders processed for various depots are picked, packed and ready for despatch. Assess WMS reports for any discrepancies on SKU's and related dims. Assess WMS reports on stock adjustments. Ensuring QC's are done as per procedure. Distribution: • Managing all inbound and outbound consignments for the Western Cape and Eastern Cape Regions • Managing the quality of packaged warehouse consignments before distribution • Inspecting quality of Palletized consignments before dispatching with agents • Ensuring Chep Pallet process is adhered to and controlled • Ensuring daily debriefs are completed and POD's are in full. Fleet: • Managing vehicle tracking for deviations and vehicle abuse • Managing vehicle system checks are completed and maintain vehicle standards (Fleetio) • Manage hired vehicle allocations and km tracking • Ensuring vehicle route rotation to control km • Ensuring vehicle km register is updated daily for timeous services • Managing Fuel cards, ensuring control sheet is updated • Managing fuel costs and consumptions for driver behavior • Managing accident claims submitted to insurer • Managing traffic offenses and allocating to responsible drivers • Updating cost report for monthly fleet repairs and services • Managing installation and de-installation of tracking units • Managing staff KPI’s • Managing time and attendance • Conduct disciplinary procedures • Managing staff training requirements
