About

Currently a Product Designer at Plugsurfing, focusing on its B2B ecosystem. Previously worked at XP Inc, one of LATAM's biggest investment bank, as the sole CRM designer taking care of the platform and building solutions for optimising the banker's workflow and access to information. Additionally, also worked at a traditional bank undergoing digital transformation at Bmg, and as part of Accenture as well. I bring a unique perspective to my work through my background as a UN consultant, where I fostered innovation and helped develop sustainable solutions for multiple years; allowing me to develop key skills, which are highly transferable to the design process. I also have experience as a freelance creative strategist, where I tackled projects from brand inception, media plans, to creative writing for international brands. This diverse background allows me to approach projects from multiple angles and bring fresh insights. Last but not least, my degree in Anthropology focusing on Consumer Behavior serves as the foundation for understanding the context of products, services and insight generation. ——

  • Senior Product Designer at Banco Bmg
    Apr 2020 - May 2021 · 1 yr 2 mos

I was invited to partake in Bmg's Design Team as a Senior Product Designer based on the complexity of the scope. My mission was to tackle cross cutting deliveries, end-to-end deliveries for rapid deployment; as well as more specialized Research-led projects. I had the opportunity to act upon 3 different roles: I acted as UX Strategist as my primary role; identifying opportunities for innovation, and mapping scenarios in cross-cutting deliveries; for instance, to gauge and optimize the impact a new feature could have in the digital ecosystem, as well as collaborate directly with the Marketing team mining opportunity for Growth Hacking from the app and website. As a UX Researcher, leading special projects to dig deeper into inconclusive data and to discover new scenarios for product development. As a UX Designer delivering fast track projects to optimize existing app features, or creating new features. My main focus were projects which impacted the bank's digital ecosystem as a whole, such as open banking, new app versions & product launches, establishing the beta test program, etc. Additionally, I benchmarked and co-established the foundation for the Design System documentation. Throughout my stint I've helped to improve the product's understanding by the senior aged target audience & gain competitive advantage against rival banks with unique proposition value in cross-cutting deliveries from the app's home page, onboarding process, content delivery, etc. --- Bmg is a traditional bank undergoing a digital transformation process, and positioning itself as a challenger bank in the Brazilian FinTech ecosystem.

Consequently it led to longer research and strategy processes than usual; as I dove deeper through ethnography, interviews and benchmarks. I designed projects on new mechanism/features inside the app such as: Upgrade and Downgrade, Marketplace for Additional Video Services (such as HBO, Disney+ and such), Service Scheduling, Contract Management, among others. • Senior Editor at Minimalissimo
    Aug 2014 - Mar 2020 · 5 yrs 8 mos

Side-gig in parallel to my day job. As Senior Editor it was part of my job to write features and assist the Editor in Chief with the curation of possible pieces for the magazine/website, in addition to the tone and editorial direction we achieve with every iteration. The continuous process of writing about such a specialized aesthetic such as minimalism is challenging but extremely rewarding as a writer and content strategist. The apparent uniformity in minimalism pushes us to dig deeper into the intricacies of the aesthetic, thus revealing the real value behind the absolute pureness in form, the focus on the essential and the ever present influence of modernism. Minimalissimo is a magazine focused on minimalism in all its forms, aiming to inspire creatives and showcase the best in the field of design. Publishing daily articles focused on architecture, product design, art and fashion; as well as the special print volumes. I've written more than 200+ published articles and counting...
