Coordination and execution of science-based consulting and research projects in the field of energy systems for industrial clients and public sector stakeholders at both national and international levels. Primary focus on the system and market integration of decentralized flexibility resources, as well as energy market design, applying a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
In this role I served as the interface between strategic decision-making and operational expertise, leading trend management and data-driven foresight initiatives. Through close collaboration with internal and external experts, I translated comprehensive deep-dive analysis into actionable insights for C-level executives, with a strong focus on energy markets and the energy transition. Building on my experience in energy systems, I assessed strategic opportunities such as hydrogen, infrastructure expansion, and wind energy, while establishing a company-wide trend process and managing a portfolio of 50 trends collaborating with more than 20 colleagues across functions to support corporate strategy development.
As a Thesis Intern Data Science at HAWE Hydraulik SE, I designed and implemented a Text Mining Natural Language Processing algorithm, combining multiple Machine Learning algorithms to identify emerging topics in broad technology landscapes. My project specifically applied this generalizable Text Mining approach to the field of hydrogen technologies, contributing to the strategic foresight of the company.
At BMW Autonomous Driving, I served as an Intern in Data Science, supporting strategic product development decisions through large-scale data analyses. I developed interactive Tableau dashboards that highlighted critical KPIs, enabling stakeholders to make well-balanced, high-impact decisions. My responsibilities included performing in-depth data analysis in Python, investigating data sources, manipulating data, and selecting appropriate tools and models to extract relevant insights.
As working student in the CEOs staff unit Corporate development, I was contributing to the departments goal of shaping the companys strategy and sustaining long term business success through profitable growth. I was responsible for quantitative and qualitative trend analysis as well as the initiation of a strategic initiative on hydrogen / Power-to-Gas.
As working student, my main responsibilities was supporting the daily business of the strategic sales department, guiding the companys market and portfolio strategy with strategic analyses, especially comprehensive sales data reporting and the derivation of strategic responses. Major tasks were the contribution to a commercial due dilligence in a multimillion Mergers & Acquisitions project and the creation and automation of sales reports.
