I have built my passion for science, environmental protection and the law into a successful 40 year practice as a creative, thoughtful, aggressive, and sophisticated advocate, advisor, problem-solver and litigator in: • Environmental Law • Land Use Law • Complex Permitting • Telecommunications Law • Unique, high-profile, time-sensitive and controversial transactions My clients have included state and local government entities, private corporations and businesses, individuals, property owners, and developers.
Recent achievements include: • Serving as Lead Counsel for a national telecommunications provider, as it seeks to build major new infrastructure projects, deploying across multiple state jurisdictions and localities, in a difficult development environment. • Serving as Outside Counsel to the new Massachusetts Gaming Commission, as it establishes an entirely new governmental commission and regulatory structure, which must address competing interests in the newly established MA gaming industry. • Serving as Town Counsel for the Town of Acton, and as Special Environmental Counsel to multiple cities and towns. Serving as Lead Counsel to several municipalities concerning complex affordable housing projects.
