Greater Toronto Area, Canada
As Director of Pre-Production, I oversee a portfolio of large-scale, multi-unit residential developments, managing the transition from initial estimation to manufacturing. Operating at the intersection of design, construction, and manufacturing work-streams, I integrate project requirements into proprietary product systems to support scalability, cost efficiency, and operational performance. My focus is on driving estimation accuracy and technical package delivery to ensure seamless production hand-offs. It has been a privilege to be a part of the Toronto Condo Boom since 2008, evolving into a "one of a kind" professional in the field. Over the years, I have developed and implemented a specialized system to design and cost-estimate kitchens, vanities, closets, doors, and custom mill-work specifically for multi-unit residential projects. Working alongside premier Italian furniture and cabinetry brands, I have cost-estimated more than 700 projects and successfully managed 65+ of them. This represents over 30,000 condo units—or 120,000 cubic meters of cabinetry—quoted, designed, and installed within the Canadian market. Innovation, technical knowledge, and market appeal have made the Toronto condo market a global pioneer. I take great pride in collaborating with and contributing to the work of the industry's leading Architects, Interior Designers, Construction Management companies, and Developers across North America.
As Director of Pre-Production, I lead a portfolio of complex, large-scale, multi-unit residential developments from initial estimation through manufacturing readiness. I own the pre-production phase end-to-end, driving estimation accuracy, comprehensive drawing package delivery and technical support to ensure a disciplined and seamless transition into production. Operating at the intersection of design, construction, and manufacturing, I enforce alignment while preserving original design intent and integrating it into the company’s proprietary product systems, enabling scalability, cost efficiency, and optimized production performance. I was in charge of estimation, custom design, ordering process, and installation site checks for multiple condominium buildings, commercial and institutional projects. I used to provide consultation and contributions to construction management companies, architects, interior designers, and sales teams providing technical and design support.
I worked as an Auto CAD designer focused on commercial and institutional projects using UNIFOR products as private offices, workstations, meeting rooms and glass partitions. I also produced complete sets of shop drawings including plans, sections, elevations, 2D and 3D views and details using AutoCAD, rendered project images using 3DMax VIZ, and put together final presentation packages using Corel Draw. Provided direct input to the projects by reviewing, testing and creating alternative versions from the original floor plans proposals. Collaborated on special projects working with Alias, Boffi, and Cassina furniture systems.
