In my career, I've held leadership roles as Head of AI, Data Science, and Credit Engine at major fintech companies like Stoneco (Nasdaq: STNE), Picpay, and a Stealth Mode Startup built by one of the biggest delivery apps in the world, and I've also ventured into entrepreneurship. Currently, I am an advisor of 3 stealth mode AI startups, with clients in the US, Australia and Europe. I also own Brain MCH, a startup linked to Scoras, an "AI Agents Software House" specialized in implementing AI Agents and Agentic-workflows in companies around the world , as well as customized LLMs and SMLs for companies, including our SaaS named Scorasbot! I have more than 28 years of coding experience and 16 years of building and managing data teams, and transforming companies into data-driven environments. Just recently I was a Top Rated Plus freelancer/ CTO As a Service on Upwork, a badge that I earned coding as a hobby, managing remote team as a part-time professional, while demonstrating excellence in machine learning and AI. Currently, though Upwork, I am only available for consulting calls. My passion is to leverage data science, credit modeling, fraud prevention, LLMs and SLMs AI Agents, and AI advisory skills to solve complex and impactful problems. In October of 2024 I launched the first Brazilian platform of courses about AI Agents, LLMs and SLMs. In just 3 weeks I had more than 100 students enrolled and now this business is named Scoras Academy, a you can see on my profile. Currently, we have more than 2500 students in 18 months since of existence. I have been a board member and an expert consultant for several fintechs, digital banks, and financial and data products in South America, guiding them with data strategy and insights. I have also created the first credit and data science teams at StoneCo and PicPay, two of the biggest fintechs in the world, with zero turnover of professionals during my tenure.
