Supporting clients with sourcing and expanding supplier network in Poland
Responsible for the overall operational management of the brand new facility for producing XXL Monopiles for Offshore windturbines.
Reporting to CEO (later COO), with full P&L responsibility - Building and leading a modern metal manufacturing company (170 FTE) delivering welded constructions of Aluminum and Steel to the wind and offshore industry. Responsible for all manufacturing and supply center operations within Safety, Quality, Production, Production Engineering, Supply Chain and HR functions. Member of AW group operations management team Inhouse manufacturing processes: Laser Cutting, Edge rounding, Bending, Rolling, Welding TIG, MIG, MAG (manual and robotic). Key subcontractor process: Hot dip galvanizing Achievements: • Factory certified acc. to EN 3834, EN 1090-2&3 as well as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 • Reported profit since first full year of operation • Resilient, motivated and competent organization with low employee turnover and absence • Only European manufacturing unit in the group after less than 2 years operation - when Danish operations was terminated and integrated in Aluwind Sp. z o.o. • Implemented Policy deployment matrix linking group targets, factory performance and necessary initiatives Responsibilities: • Setting plant strategy based on input from the overall group strategy • Drive improvements within efficiency, ergonomic and quality in logistics and manufacturing • Leading and ensuring successful product and technology launch • Leading and developing managers • Leading monthly factory information meetings in Polish • Ensuring transparency in business processes through correct use of ERP system (SAP) • Implementing, revising and reporting on KPIs • Developing and improving of capacity plans and models • Defining and taking measures to ensure adequate capacity acc. to demand • Making operations, investment and cost budgets and ensuring adherence to these. • Build and develop supplier network and external partnerships • Organization changes due to growth and new tasks • Ensuring accurate inventories and ongoing reduction

Reporting to CEO - Launch new polish manufacturing unit • Responsible for investments in property, plant, and equipment (qualification, evaluation, negotiation, and implementation) • Leading lease negotiation for building • Planning and building the organization including hiring white and blue collars • Coordinating obtaining of operating permits • Obtaining Special Economic Zone permit granting CIT relief
Reporting to group Logistics director in Denmark - Daily management, motivation and development of the Service center (55 FTE) located in Coswig (anhalt), Germany Inhouse processes: Sawing of Aluminium by means of band saws and blade saws, Levelling and Cutting of sheets from coil, Machining, Picking and packing of Bars, sheets plates and blocks. Achievements: • Activities in Germany, Czech Rep. and Netherlands consolidated to new Service Center • Added 2 new key services to the benefit of the whole group (Sheet processing and Horizontal ingot cutting) • more than doubled warehouse capacity and established additional warehouse for Bars and Sheets • From serving primarily NL and DE, we ended up serving just about all group markets (NL, DE, CZ, PL, DK, SE, NO) Responsibilities: • P&L responsible for the operation • Manning and Capacity planning • Creating operational budgets • Implementation of Cut-to-Length sheet processing line -first in the group and at the time largest single machine investment • Implementation of new Horizontal Bandsaw for 16 ton Aluminum ingots • Ensuring compliance with rules for EU investment grant and timely receipt of funding • Planning and obtaining construction permit for new building (Construction was not initiated due to revised Risk profile) • Refurbish and convert old concrete factory to raw material stock, including setting up internal logistics between the 2 buildings of the service center • Implementation of ISO 9001 quality management system Having achieved stable operations I was offered by the Group CEO to head a new important project for the daughter company, Aluwind.
Reporting to Group Logistics Director, responsible for start-up and leading project to establish a new German Service center of the Alumeco Group. The mission of the Service Center was to provide the customers of the group with supplies of Aluminium in the form of Sheets, Plates, and Bars as well as in pieces cut to size as per client specification. The Service center added important capacity on North European market supplying, the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark. The initial tasks was concerned primarily with: • Project planning and investment and operation budgeting. • Layout planning and refurbishment of building • Purchase of machines and equipment (Cranes, Forklifts, Racks etc.) • Hiring of first employees and coordinating training and transfer of knowledge from other relevant group subsidiaries • Primary contact for the new service center in relation to operation and development
