Overlooking the entire end-to-end supply chain including but not limited to Delivery (supply chain and service delivery), Manufacturing and Procurement.
Responsible for setting the corporate direction, structuring of the end-to-end business, processes, and accountabilities of the company. Managed and motivated individuals to work as a team, and encouraged teams to work as organizations. Chaired the Supply Strategic Board, which decides on future strategies and locations of Global Supply Network. I also managed all Huawei Direct Material assets, and acted as a sponsor for global accounts. Managed the globalization of the supply chain and operated and developed the Global Supply Network. Planned and implemented complete order and contact fulfillment for all Huawei Hardware and Software deliveries, including carrier, enterprise and partly device business units. Oversaw the global order management, global logistics, global software supply, global customs compliance and total order fulfillment for all business units (partly device business unit). Led various activities such as bidding, deliveries and customer acceptance. Coordinated all supply centers, all global regions and all shared service centers.
Successfully oversaw NPI/TPI, manufacturing, planning, order management, logistics, and customs compliance. Established the Huawei Global Supply Network, moving the supply chain from a single point of production in China to multiple global locations. This move resulted in a significant increase in customer satisfaction. Managed the globalization of the supply chain and established supply centers around the world. Organized the outsourcing of manufacturing to EMS and reviewed and managed supplier performance. Set up global forecasting and planning, order management and logistics systems. Designed and implemented a customer-oriented supply chain concept, Lead-to-Cash. Overhauled processes and transformed the organization into an English-speaking one with an international workforce and mind set.
