About

As a USPTA Elite Professional and award-winning tournament director, I’ve dedicated over 27 years to elevating the tennis and pickleball experience across private clubs, academies, and communities. I specialize in building racquet sports programs, mentoring coaching teams, and creating competitive opportunities that drive engagement and growth. I currently serve as the Director of Tennis at a private club in Rapid City, SD, while continuing my strategic role as majority shareholder of Dripping Springs Racquet Club (formerly Polo Tennis & Fitness Club in Austin, TX), where I led extensive program development and facility expansion for over 15 years. Throughout my career, I've been passionate about delivering top-tier instruction, growing membership, and creating community-focused events that bring people together through sport. I’ve also launched UTR tournaments in both Austin and Rapid City, opening doors for all levels of competitive play. Notable Achievements: 2023 USTA Texas Tournament Director of the Year USPTA Certified Elite Professional (since 1998) USPTA Certified Pickleball Professional (since 2023) Austin CATA Junior Coach of the Year – 2018 Austin CATA Pro of the Year – 2007 USPTA Men’s Open National Player of the Year – 2002, 2003, 2004 One of only three players in USPTA history to win three USPTA World Conference Men’s Open Singles Championships (2002, 2003, 2004) Founding Father of AESA Prep Academy (2012) Former NCAA D1 athlete – #1 Singles & Doubles Player and Co-Captain at the University of Texas (1991–1993) I believe in the power of tennis to connect people and transform lives—and I’m always looking to build something meaningful, whether that’s a new tournament, a stronger club culture, or a winning team on and off the court.
